About
If you find yourself in Clemmons, North Carolina, a visit to Little Richard's Bar-B-Que is a must for anyone who takes their barbecue seriously. Located at 6470 Stadium Dr, this gem has become a cherished stop for locals and travelers alike, known for its hospitable service and mouth-watering offerings that resonate with authenticity.
The soul of Little Richard's lies in its dedication to delivering quality barbecue. Diners rave about their signature dishes, with the cow-pig sandwich taking center stage for many. This sandwich boasts tender, smoky flavors, enhanced by the freshness of crisp coleslaw and vibrant pickles, creating a harmonious combination that delights the palate. The positive atmosphere, highlighted by the friendly and prompt service, ensures that you feel not just like a guest but a valued part of the family. One customer, Brandon Winkler, couldn't help but express his satisfaction with his experience, labeling it as ‘fantastic’ and emphasizing the welcoming spirit of the staff.
Another highlight is the impressive portion sizes that leave diners pleasantly stuffed. Daniel Li describes a sandwich so large that eating it without a mess becomes a challenge—yet, he considers that a perk. Little Richard's clearly understands the value of generosity, serving up hearty portions that hold true to the barbecue tradition.
However, as with any culinary experience, opinions can vary. While many sing the praises of the flavorful meats and homestyle sides, some have expressed a desire for even more seasoning and creativity in the offerings. One customer, Leiny, mentioned the food tasting like a franchise, highlighting the importance of consistently impressive flavors in every bite.
If you visit on a Monday, take advantage of the incredible rib special—an enticing 1.25 per bone deal that simply cannot be missed. Michael B, a satisfied customer, attests to the hearty helpings and friendly staff, reinforcing that this establishment goes above and beyond not just in quality but also in customer care.
To top it all off, don’t overlook the pork fritters. These delectable bites, reminiscent of hush puppies but bursting with cheesy goodness inside, could steal the show on their own. It's this kind of creative flair that can elevate an already solid menu and keep patrons coming back for more.
In summary, Little Richard's Bar-B-Que is a fantastic find for anyone craving authentic barbecue in a community-centric environment. From the brisk customer service to the succulent, hickory-smoked meats and generous portions, it’s a restaurant that resonates with warmth and flavor. Make sure to stop by—your taste buds will thank you!
“ I had a fantastic experience at Little Richard’s BBQ! The service was outstanding—friendly, prompt, and made me feel genuinely welcome. The cow-pig sandwich was excellent—tender, smoky, and flavorful, perfectly complemented by the crisp coleslaw and pickles. The potato salad, while acceptable, could have used a touch more salt and a hint of smoked paprika to really bring out its flavor. Overall, this place delivers top-quality BBQ that’s absolutely worth the visit! ”
“ The food is really good, and they give generous portions. The sandwich I got is really something, embodying the phenomena of being impossible to eat normally due to the size. (Not a bad thing.) ”
“ Disappointed in the food. It tasted like a franchise. Not enough flavor in the meet and the sides did not have flavor either and portions were tiny. ”
“ We stopped in for lunch while out on a Saturday fun getaway. It was not that busy, but just the right amount of staff over customer ratio. The food was really good and priced accordingly. They were nice and helpful. Our daughter is special needs which has a special diet that we do ourselves on outings. They were great in making sure we had everything we needed. We will return! ”
“ Excellent barbecue. They have the hickory smoked as well as the Lexington style sauce. The pulled pork and ribs are delicious. It’s Monday so the special is ribs at 1.25 a bone. Ingot the pulled pork platter too. You’ll get tons of food so don’t plan on eating the rest of the day. Prices are very reasonable especially for the quality and quantity of the food. Oh, and the pork fritters are sooo good. Like a hush puppy with cheese inside. I could’ve made a meal out of those babies. Real nice friendly folks here and they’re happy to help you and make suggestions. Definitely 5 stars and worth the trip to Clemons. ”
“ We went to little richard for my brother’s birthday. It was amazing. We had a really good time. Staff was super friendly and kind. They also gave a free portion cake for my brother. Food was delicious. I recommend Brisket nachos. ”
“ We ate there on a Wednesday around one pm, pleasantly dining was about half full. My wife had the BBQ tacos and I had the Spudzilla with Brisket. Both plates and the side order of Onion Rings were delicious! I had to have stitches to my fingers because I went past the brisket and bit into my fingers... repeatedly! ”
“ Quality food at a reasonable price. One of the best barbecue restaurants in Winston-Salem and surrounding area. Hands down the best ”
